HELP of Southern Nevada
We assist families and individuals throughout Southern Nevada to overcome barriers and attain self-sufficiency through direct services, training, and referral to community resources.
HELP of Southern Nevada resides on “HELP street” which is comprised of four buildings on E. Flamingo Rd. HELP has a large footprint in North Las Vegas at our West Lake Mead office and a satellite office in Mesquite. Today, HELP offers a variety of programs and services to help individuals, families, and youth increase their self-sufficiency and keep people housed or get them housed. HELP serves the tiniest of clients; newborns of young mothers to the elderly and everyone in between. Each year, HELP assists tens of thousands of clients. There are close to 170 employees who serve our clients through 10 different departments and over 4 programs.
To provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. At Three Square, we believe that eliminating hunger is a community initiative and that equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to our mission. We are committed to ensuring everyone has equitable access to resources that create a hunger-free community.
We work with a service network of community partners (this includes nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools and after school and feeding sites) in our community to reach struggling individuals and families at risk of hunger.

The King’s Mate Chess Academy
The King’s Mate Chess Academy was founded in 2017 with the mission of providing high-quality chess programs to youth. The academic benefits of chess are undeniable. Many students that learn chess develop their abstract thinking, ability to concentrate, and multitask. While these skills are not exclusive to chess, they are all a part of the game and consequently are developed because of playing chess. Children who play chess have shown improvement in their overall academic performance.
The King’s Path motto is “You’re the most important piece in the game.” We want our students to understand that they are in control of their lives and that if equipped with the proper tools, they can achieve their dreams. Upon completion of our program, students will be able to not only play chess, but also have a foundation of leadership skills and principles that will change their lives forever.
Nevada Partners Positive Youth Impact programs help motivate and support youth to achieve their maximum potential through a holistic programmatic approach. The program assists youth (16-24 years of age) to build a strong educational foundation to ensure graduation from high school. While building on the foundation of education, youth begin their journey in leadership development and civic engagement activities. Youth are taught to give back to their communities and make their communities stronger. Finally, youth explore career options through work readiness training and career exposure activities to help tools for their future. Nevada Partners youth program helps empower youth in becoming responsible and productive members of their community.
